A "must have" for 2nd Amendment enthusiasts.

This is a really good movie regarding a very serious threat. Our increasing reliance upon technology could be our weakness and our undoing. Our enemies know that! Our banking and defenses depend upon the power grid. The steady rise of globalization and the concentration of power in fewer and fewer hands, outside of our country, are also a real concern.

There is some good acting, and maybe some... not so good acting, but overall I really liked it. Direction and editing was very good. Scenes would change at the proper pace and stay entertaining. A good variety of characters and some carefully places humor. Dialog would get the message across without ever being too long or preachy. Although this movie is somewhat political in nature, I loved that the screenwriters chose to deliver the point without being overly political or decisive.

There is some pretty good action, but that is not necessarily the point of this film. If you are buying just for mindless entertainment, you may be disappointed. It's a political thriller, not a visual treat for the summer blockbuster crowd. But, if you are entertained by ideas, this may be right up your alley. If nothing else, it may remind us that most of us are not prepared, and that we all need to take some basic steps to defend ourselves and provide for our loved ones (just in case the unthinkable occurs).
