Disappointing.
Said absolutely nothing new about the struggles of youth. There were glimmers of hope that eventually led to nothing like Hannah's fear of becoming her manic depressive mother, Colin living up to his father's expectations, Megan's hidden rage about her sister's suicide. Instead the movie focused on shallow issues like getting into college, breaking up with girlfriends, drinking...
