Goddamn I hate teenagers. So this was unsurprisingly not very compelling, like, at all. Risible from two perspectives: 1) boiling down the complexities of human lives into marketable stereotypes (the "geek," the "rebel," etc.
); or 2) the elevation of teenage bullshit into high drama and tragedy. Slickly-made, but so what, so is "The Hills.".
