Review of American Teen (2008) by Kyle R — 19 Mar 2009
Provides a balanced glimpse into the highs and lows of high school while focusing on a group of stereotyped profiles. The jock, the popular girl, the sarcastic rocker chick, the outcast, etc. It's an enjoyable look back on a time many of us would choose not to return to, albeit there are moments that remind of the sheer excitement experienced during senior year.
A more diverse group of kids (perhaps a minority in the mix!) would have surely benefitted this good natured documentary.
