Review of American Teen (2008) by Thomas M — 01 Jan 2012
There appears to be some level of contrivance and manipulation at play here, but the emotions feel uniquely real, and it is compulsively watchable. The personalities are all so different, but its the unavoidable commonalities that hit the hardest.
A one of a kind movie.
