Review of American Splendor (2003) by Niccolo F — 27 May 2008
An entertaining true story of comic writer Harvey Pekar. First off, Paul Giamatti is amazing once again. He definitely portrays Pekar well and is funny in doing so. I didn't like the way the movie was set up though.
The real Pekar was narrating and it would sometimes shoot back to an interview with him. I'd rather it just be a movie the whole way through. That might be just me though.
