Review of American Splendor (2003) by Tommy F — 01 Mar 2010
If I would have ever grown up to be miserable, I would consider wielding a character such that as Harvey Pekar. I have watched this movie countless times now, and always find something else new and curious. The views on solidarity and human condition are fantastic. The cut scenes with the real characters mesmerize me, as it blends how perfectly played out the actors make them to be.
Are you lonely, normal, and cranky? Then watch this movie, it will make you realize it's ok to be who you are.
