Review of American Sniper (2014) by Nicholasbert — 10 Jan 2015
American Sniper has its moments (for me, it was the sandstorm scene), but the film didn't quite take off. Maybe it was the constant back and forth from home to warzone, or the overused "soldier and his wife" drama, or the lack of empathy for the protagonist, I don't know.
I don't think Bradley Cooper had the right face for his character, even though he acts just fine throughout.
