The story of Chris Kyle goes way beyond this movie obviously so just based on what the movie covered it is a pretty hardcore war movie about a soldier and soldiers who have to do what they have to do to survive and accomplish what they set out to do.

Also what effects it takes on them afterward. It is definitely an interesting story and it should be watched. Cooper also does great in carrying this movie along with Eastwood who always directs well.
