Gripping. Bradley Cooper rocks and certainly deserved his Best Actor Academy Award nomination. It is a sober and realistic take on the life of a highly skilled sniper, and the toll it takes on him psychologically.
American sniper packs a powerful punch, and keeps you engrossed from beginning to end. One of the better war films that will remain as a inspiring classic.
