This unique, absurd, film has a cult following for a reason. It's take on narcissism, materialism, and the wall street lifestyle has been copied many times, but never have the feats of American Psycho been replicated.
As for Christian Bale, the performance of a lifetime was given. You'll laugh so hard at the protagonist that you might not notice that you're laughing with him. Now if you'll excuse me, "I have to return some videotapes.
