An incredibly solid and daring film, with a structure and tone as off-beat as Patrick Bateman himself, and Christian Bale adhering to the psychotic nature of his character - the ambiguity of the entire film's plot also leaving much of it up to debate, making the film with such a taboo nature easily discussable.
