Review of American Pie Presents: The Book of Love (2009) by Elliott N — 04 Jan 2010
Just when I thought the American Pie franchise had finally taken its final breath, it went Rambo on me and came out with yet another tale full of ridiculousness, nudity and sadly, only a few scattered laughs.
An attempt to maintain the continuity by having a "Stifler" character failed miserably, as did the rest of the script and dialogue. A story that while not used, still reeks of high school lore.
Better than some of the other post-original trilogy, it still misses the mark. There are certainly 1001 better things to do with 90 minutes than watch this one.
