The "American Pie" movies certainly aren't Oscar-worthy or anything, but most of them are entertaining anyway. And often pretty damn funny. "American Pie Presents - Band Camp" automatically got a lot of shit because it didn't star the original cast (except for Eugene Levy) and seemed to be one of those awful B-grade sequels.
But I disagree completely. I thought "Band Camp" had some pretty funny moments, and some sweet moments too. Tad Hilgenbrinck has been all over the place in bit parts or movies not many people have noticed, but in "Band Camp" he does a good job at playing Matt Stifler.
It's a pity the real Stifler couldn't make a cameo, but seriously - give "Band Camp" a chance!
