American Pie 2 is a very rare thing when it comes to sequels to insanely successful comedies: It feels just as fresh as the original, and manges to be even funnier. The wacky sexual situations are wilder and even more hilarious than before, and writer Adam Herz has done a great job of creating situations and subplots for each character that are just as funny, if not more so, and interesting as they were in the first film.
American Pie 2 is the rare sequel that manages to be marginally better than the first in many ways.
