Being an anti-social college student I seriously disliked "american pie" without even having watched the movie just because the rest of the mindless world loved it. I happened to catch a few minutes of it while at college and it simply took my attention away from "quake 3 arena".
I was so mesmerized I couldn't play anymore. Also think it was an important influence enough to dim my anti-social ideas and turn me into as a normal person as I can be. This movie is not a teen movie, it is THE teen movie.
A masterpiece...
