Good movie on a highly unusual real-life character. The movie makes little attempt in justifying Barry's actions and still succeeds in making a hero out of him. Barry's ventures may or may not have played a massive role in many of 1980s historic events involving Central America but the portrayal with all the historic connections - including his brushing with five present and future US presidents - provides a great story material.

The movie, once again, works because of a story that is extraordinary and different.
