We all love getting to learn about past secrets our government has kept from us up until now. In the movie American Made (2017), Tom Cruise plays the main role of Barry Seal, Sarah Wright plays Cruise's wife Lucy Seal.

The director Doug Liman did an outstanding job on this sit on the edge of your seat thriller. The movie American Made is based upon true events. Barry Seal is an experienced airplane pilot for a commercial airline company.

Until he is approached by a man only known as Schafer (Actor Domhnall Gleeson). Schafer offers him a job flying for the CIA. Barry Seal is given his orders by Schafer to provide air intel on the growing communist compounds in South America.

Soon Barry finds himself tied up with multiple cartels, the biggest drug lords know in history, South American warlords, and the American Government. He soon would be the leader of the biggest CIA covert operations in history.

Constantly receiving orders from his superiors to fly different illegal items either into or out of America. Barry always was looking over his shoulder. Barry Seal was estimated to of flown over 5 billion dollars worth of illegal merchandise in his lifetime.

Not to mention Barry is getting paid by duffle bags worth of money after every illegal trip. The Movie give an easily graspable timeline from when Barry was a commercial pilot up to his illegal piloting days.

If I was Director Doug Linman I would of changed the surprising ending of the movie into something a little more enjoyable.
