Review of American Made (2017) by Ulna319 — 17 May 2021
Many people have seen Blow with Johnny Depp, Carlito's Way with Al Pacino, The Mule with Clint Eastwood, Goodfellas. In all of these films the character's are providing drugs to random people for cash.
They don't enjoy breaking the law, they are doing it out of necessity. Al is straight in Carlito but he's a former drug procurer and seller. Clint drops the drugs for survival and to aid his estranged family.
The best ending out of all these movies is Goodfellas, the movies end on a positive note. The rest of the films have negative, disjointed endings that are lacking. This movie was brilliantly made by Doug Liman.
Liman & Cruise should continue to make movies together. They are a phenomenal team.
