I love this story, it is a bit predictable though: Random guy gets into big corporation stuff and makes a lot of money, guy gets caught and everything goes downhill. Rather simple. Movies like Wolf of Wallstreet and Goodfellas have this concept too. But American Made is still a good movie and executes the story well. There is just something likeable about Barry Seal even though he is dealing with the bad guys. Basically everyone is a bad guy, the government, the cartels, everyone. And that concept is very well done. The only thing I don't like is the blurriness of some scenes. I get that for some people it is an added aesthetic but for me it is a distraction and unpleasent to look at.
