Review of American Hustle (2013) by Tsukasa A — 05 Aug 2014
Christian acts as a hustler who fears big gambles. Bradley acts as an FBI agent hot blood. Amy acts as a woman who tries to stand up from luckless background. Jeremy acts as a people's beloved politician. Jennifer acts as a flippant wife. All the performance are as fulfilling as to spark one another.
In The Oscars 2014,.
'American Hustle' was nominated for the Best Picture.
Christian was nominated for the Best Actor in a Leading Role.
Amy was nominated as the Best Actress in a Leading Role.
Bradley was nominated as the Best Actor in a Supporting Role.
Jennifer Lawrence was nominated Best Actress in a Supporting Role.
We can see they had a very successful casting.
Jennifer is amazing. Jennifer's parents wouldn't let her act until she had graduated from high school. Despite of her short carrier as an actress, her performance is not behind from other big names' performance. I also watched her performance in 'Winter's bone', 'Silver Lining Playbook' and 'Hunger Games'. She played different types of women nicely and won the Oscar for the Best Actress in Leading Role in 'Silver Lining Playbook' in 2013. She must be gifted.
In the world of hustle but not limited, it's difficult to tell what's is real and what's not. Even love is not an exception. This makes the movie more thrilling. Watch out what's real and what's not!
