Review of American Hustle (2013) by Scott E — 23 Sep 2014
The story is okay the pacing is similar to other films of a certain genre. What makes this film work is the acting of Christian Bale, Amy Adams, Bradley cooper, Jennifer Lawrence and Jeremy Renner. I enjoyed Bale's performance the most.
Ultimately the plot barely made sense, but enough to make the film sludge along. With lesser actors this film wouldn't be good.
