While it has some fantastic moments, and features an excellent performance by Sasha Lane and Shia LaBeouf, American Honey is the pure definition of a 162 minute coming-of-age road trip film being not only dull, bland, and boring, but also pretentious and Oscar bait, and this is easily the most overrated film I've seen this year!
