Review of American History X (1998) by Kaitlyn H — 07 May 2012
It was an incredible movie. Showed something that catched my attention and something I wanted to see; people with good and bad sides and not only with good side or only with a bad side. It showed something so cruel.
How much hate it is in people without knowing so much about the truth, the anger and frustration, the confusing, the influence, everything, how much that influenced the people, how much they were trying to force themselves to believe in something because that was what they were "supposed" to belive in.
And Edward Norton, God, he was really incredible, I mean he wasn't the best at acting or maybe it's just me who is too picky but it was something about him that made me think about the movie over and over and over again, made me think about him the most and think wow he made such a great impact on me.
The scene were just awesome, not that it was good with the bad stuff but I mean the way they created it, they were really acting in such a perfect way. It was just so tragic, not only the end but everything, the hate inside them, the society, their way of thinking, the way they were blinded and that some people still are, it's just sooo tragic.
