Review of American History X (1998) by Sam M — 30 Jan 2015
Edward Norton is great in this as is Beverly D'Angelo. The black and white scenes are shot beautifully and really strike a cord with its importance to the story and the movie is accompanied with a beautiful score.
Thought at times I felt the movie overbearing, it has a nice story and sense of redemption but also shows the consequences of living the life Norton's character was living.
