With a powerful message about racism and hate, American History X manages to create a deep emotional story that, in the midst of hope and suffering, shows the terrible reality represented by the neo-Nazi groups in the United States, becoming a complex film that leaves the viewer with a bittersweet taste for prejudice and anger.
In addition, the incredible performance of Edward Norton and his co-stars, along with the cinematography, make this film a masterpiece and a cult classic.
