American History X is a jaw dropping drama. It provides a powerful take on racism and its effect on peoples lives, its violent through words and actions. There are moments of devastation and even some with disbelief.
Its full of hatred and delivers a strong message. Edward Norton delivers by far the best performance of his career and was truly compelling to watch, you know that it must have been a difficult role to portray.
The ending to this masterpiece is shocking, as if the audience isn't rocked enough. Superb.
