Review of American Hardcore (2006) by Godfrey C — 11 Sep 2007
Minus half a star for only showing the roots, not talking about youth crew or hardcore dancing, and only sticking to the basics. Every time Rollins talked, he made me laugh. It was also cool to see JR talk.
This documentary has its weak and strong points, it has no direction but telling the roots and backgrounds of a bunch of hardcore bands in the eighties, and turfing out each band and who is credited with starting the scene where.
Watch it if you dig hardcore.
