Review of American Graffiti (1973) by Todd Newman — 27 Apr 2009
This is also one of those rare films that captures the culture of American youth and contains characters that we can relate to. We would all like to be the cool John Milner, but more than likely we were a little closely resembled to Toad.
There is some fabulous music as well as the coolest cars. I really sometimes wish that I could have grown up in that era of the birth of Rock 'n Roll, and the hey day of quality American automobiles.
This was also a great example of George Lucas's talent as a director of some thing other than sci-fi action flicks. "Hey creep, you wanna Knuckle sandwich" " ah no, that's ok I'm waiting on a double chubby chuck".
