Review of American Graffiti (1973) by Andy S — 16 Jan 2018
Great cast of characters and wonderful acting. They really captured the feeling and time of the late 50's. Beautiful cars in this movie. What an intersting bunch of characters. They feel real. Almost like people you know or that you grew up with. There's a nostalgic feel about it all that I love.
This movie is almost like the 50's version of Dazed & Confused. I like John's character. He seems like a cool guy, someone I'd be friends with. That Wolf Man is one funny clever son of a bitch.
I really like how the story follows different characters and keeps going back and forth. It makes for an interesting watch. Pretty unexpected semi- dark ending.
Overall, really fun movie that's both entertaining and nostalgic.
