Review of American Graffiti (1973) by Kevin J — 28 Aug 2014
This movie gave me this great feeling of nostalgia, even though I didn't grow up in the '60's. It brought me back to a time where life was innocent and free from responsibility. Although this is clearly an idealized version of the '60's, it seems like it would be the best time period to grow up in. There isn't a whole lot going on in this movie, I will admit. It is about a group of teenagers who are living their last day before college, and experiencing freedom and innocence for the last time. The music is great, the cars are amazing, it's just a simple story about people transitioning to a significantly new stage in their lives. Great stuff.
BEST SCENE: Curt meeting Wolfman Jack.
