Review of American Graffiti (1973) by Anna B — 31 Aug 2010
George Lucasâ??s nostalgic masterpiece (yes, better than Star Wars) chronicles the misadventures and coming-of-age of a group of teenage friends during one aimless night in the summer of 1962. Itâ??s a night spent cruising main street, eating at Melâ??s Diner, dancing at the sock hop, falling in with a suburban street gang and culminating in a good old-fashioned drag race, all set to an amazing oldies soundtrack.
I wish my high school memories were like this.
