Review of American Graffiti (1973) by Garrett C — 05 Sep 2011
It was extremely influential for the time in many ways, mainly the several stories going on at once that never intersect. Not only that but the beautiful soundtrack that is all licensed music from the time period which play to comment on situations and to fit moods.
The time era seems to be captured perfectly, and the characters are all interesting and well developed. The film is extremely nostalgic yet still having a seemingly accurate representation of the cruising culture.
