Review of American Graffiti (1973) by Bob V — 17 Oct 2010
One of the most profitable movies of all time (when adjusted for inflation and all that), it started or cemented the careers of entertainers that would dominate entertainment for decades (George Lucas, Harrisson Ford, Richard Dreyfuss, Cindy Williams, Ron Howard, Mackenzie Phillips, Kathleen Quinlan...).
An interesting vignette style that's been copied plenty of times, but I think you need to be an American - and possibly an American that was alive through the '60s and '70s - to fully appreciate this one.
