Review of American Gangster (2007) by Nat A — 15 Nov 2014
I put this on my want to see list, and I'm glad I did. It was a quite refreshing take on the gangster film genre adding the twist of african american flavor. I definitely owes a big debt to some gangster cinema of its likeness, but I think it was pulled off well through the performances of the main actors and the general feel was raw enough to entice.
