Kevin Spacey delivers the performance of his life in this haunting, psychologically complex and well crafted film that was the ultimate hit of 1999... American Beauty is a great film that deals with issues and questions of everday life and is truly unique and provocative.

.. It is also well acted, especially from Kevin Spacey who basically carries the film... It has more than one central plot... It is almost 5 stories combined in one movie and all these stories seem to relate to eachother in one way or another.

. A great film which is worth seeing if you haven't watched it yet. It demands attention. Flawless.
