Review of American Beauty (1999) by Milkshake_Vm — 17 Dec 2018
Fantastic movie about everything wrong in a household. A haunting tale of existential grief. First ten minutes you find a lame (and couldn't be more true to the word) dad whose wife drives him to work and acts a bit of a creep.
A true way to take you on a philosophical journey as at the end you may start to realize that of all 10 or so characters maybe he was the most sane. Not a single character lives without flaws. You learn to love and hate almost everyone in this film and all the while it teaches you fundamental problems from all aspects of family.
