Review of America: Imagine the World Without Her (2014) by Anthony C — 19 Feb 2015
Various critics will tell you that this movie is this, that, and the other. In fact, it is not rated very high by professional film critics at all. Nonetheless, it has an extremely high score when taking a look at how the audience regarded it.
I sometimes wonder why there is such a sizable disparity between the two sets of ratings. I digress. This film is overwhelmingly refreshing, as it takes a look at certain circumstances and situations from the perspective of various individuals.
The viewpoints of those in this movie are interesting, and are presented in a way which is both respectful and tasteful. Likewise, the narrative commentary itself is respectful, and the landscape and or scenery throughout the film is tasteful.
This movie is something which I would definitely recommend, due to the fact that it is thorough, insightful, engaging, and soulful, and it is hard to find films which have these aforementioned constituents in this day and age.
