Review of America: Imagine the World Without Her (2014) by Carol D — 22 Jun 2015
The film sits audiences down with a premise, "What would the world be like without her" but instead tells a docudrama of what America would be without criticism. It challenges viewers to take hindsight into account before enacting the common attacks on America's ethical standing through history and presents players who may have shaped public opinion on "the crimes of America.
" A film filled with embellishments and a camera overly friendly with Dinesh's mug, it is still worthy to see for anyone interested in understanding both sides. With an industry that is positioned so radically one side, it is a cultural phenomenon to discover such a film as America reach the theaters.
If you are looking to find a movie that can answer burning questions I suggest reading more books and if you are looking for a film that looks objectively at any subject, I suggest watching a nature documentary on PBS.
All in all, the film points to counter arguments for their points rather than out-of-context interviews and bully reporting. I encourage any brave enough and open minded to go see this film.
