Review of America: Freedom to Fascism (2006) by Kenn C — 01 Mar 2008
A friend recommended that I take a gander at this documentary about the influence of the central bank on American government. Now, I've always had speculations that the corporate machine having greater authority in the decisions that are made in American government, but I was not prepared to be shocked about the abuse of power and influence that the corporate sect of the banking industry has in this country.
Which, according to the film, is devaluation of money due to the fact that the distribution of currency is controlled by a central banking system (corporate) and not the government entity. The government is this film acts as a front for the will of the corporate machine.
Even though the documentary starts out about the Mr. Russo's investigation into the legality (or illegality) of collecting income taxes, it is just a precursor to a much larger issue, the distribution and worth of personal wealth in this country.
The documentary does a good job of explaining this viewpoint in a non-complicated fashion and relays information that is easy to understand. The only portion of the documentary that I'm still iffy about is the validity of corporate America using government to impose radio frequency tracking chips in the bodies of Americans.
I would be shocked if the majority Americans would be willing to be tagged like an animal under the guise of a better society. Corporate America can easily do this now without government intervention by just tagging RFD chips to the products that we buy.
(Since the FDA already approved the use for it a few years ago). The movie is worth a viewing, and even if you don't believe the consequences of the US government's actions, at least you will get an understanding of what the role of the Federal Reserve and how monies are funneled to this corporate entity.
Russo's style of displaying the information is similar to that of Michael Moore, where it slowly leads up from a general topic of interest to an alarming cause for concern, which seems highly effective to get the filmmakers viewpoint across.
An enjoyable watch and highly recommended.
