Review of Amélie (2001) by Luke H — 13 Nov 2011
Amelie seems to combine cynicism and optimism in almost equal measure, making it one of the most interesting and amusing films I have seen in a long time. Despite the plot being extremely random, and the events being rather farfetched, the energy of the directing is undeniable, and because of this, it is hard not to just laugh along and enjoy it.
