Review of Amélie (2001) by L.a. K — 09 May 2012
I loved Audrey Tautou in this movie, she's just so adorable and cute, and I personally think she did a really great job in showing how unique her character, Amelie, is. It is a love story movie, but definitely not the "aw lovey dovey The Notebook" kind of romantic movie (well it's a similar but slightly different kind of movie, I don't know why I compared Amelie to that though, I just despise The Notebook).
This movie is funny, with smart lines, plot, and also uplifting. Definitely the kind of movie you won't mind seeing again and again :).
