Review of Amélie (2001) by Juan Carlo V — 09 Feb 2013
What makes films like Amelie so delightful to watch? not the perfectly funny and weird characters, or the beautiful cinematography, or the compelling heart-warming simple story (another example of how simplicity, can also be a form of perfection).
What I loved about Amelie was Amelie herself and all the little incoherent details that I found extremely perfect, funny and cute in a sense of charming, and perfection. A film that can bring you a smile, if you know to look deeper inside, inside Amelie.
