Good movie, but the real coward is not Amelie but the writer who couldn't figure out a more meaningful meeting between the lovers than just having sex. What a cop out, like novelists who chicken out of the grand finale of their plot and just end the book.
Other than that, most of the movie is pure genius! Great acting, too.
