Review of Amélie (2001) by Christopher M — 08 May 2014
A touching and eye-opening look at human nature in this wonderful look into the life of a modern day saint. After her own emotionally stifled and quiet life begins to get to her, Amelie decides to reach out and touch the lives of a number of weird and wonderful characters dear to her and unknown.
This is a masterclass in emotive film making and will have you laughing and reaching for the tissues in equal measure. My partner and I enjoyed this film so much we named our Daughter after the lead. Looking forward for her to be old enough to appreciate it.
