Amelia is not that bad, it's kind of entertaining even though it doesn't make justice to Amelia Earhart's legacy or personal life. Hilary Swank looks like Earhart, but she's not well directed by Nair, neither Gere.
Together, Swank and Gere, they're a bomb, there's an absolute lack of chemistry. It's evident it was a production with a big budget because the art direction, costumes and technical aspects are awesome, the trouble comes with the screenplay, direction and acting, aspects the audience generally focuses more on.
