"Amelia" has a lot going for it as Hillary Swank with the help of the makeup department captured Amelia Earhart so well that one could swear it was actually Amelia herself! Not only that, but the film boasts gorgeous cinematography, beautiful period costumes and a remarkable attention to detail to capture the time period accurately.

However, despite that, the film's two-dimensional script simply hitting Earhart's accomplishments till her disappearance make this promising film quite the disappointment that doesn't live up to its potential.
