Review of Amazon Women on the Moon (1987) by Richard D — 26 Feb 2017
A multi-director comedy anthology film that really has no overarching structure to it. When it's firing on all cylinders, it's really funny. Like most of these films, it's very uneven, and the unfunny stuff is pretty dire.
With few exceptions, the Joe Dante and Carl Gottlieb material is superb, but not the rest. John Landis's segments (except for the ones featuring Don "No Soul" Simmons) demonstrate just how far he slid after the early 80's.
