My favourite! with this sort of autobiographical film, Fellini met my standards! Great mise-en-scene, beautiful nostalgic story, and loooooots of historical and cultural Italianness...!! And then the way he represents the socio-political situation of Italy during the the Fascist period.
...is so ironically close to reality (?) ....! and then these women, so gourgeous and plumpy...to become a significant presence in the architecture of Italian erotic imagination....
