Review of Amarcord (1973) by Ginny A — 23 Apr 2008
Fellini re-creates his memories of growing up in small town Emilia-Romagna during the 1930s. Not much of a plot, just eccentric characters, menacing politics and wonderful creation of mood/ambiance. Lots of tragic-comic scenes.
